Comfortable beds, clean facilities with easy access to laundry services and a pleasant seasonal outdoor pool that provided a relaxing atmosphere.
Everything was just right.

Location is perfect, just a short walk to the Riverwalk. Room cleanliness could be better; I found hairs on the floor. Parking is affordable at $7 per night.

Location is ideal, just a short walk to the Riverwalk and the Alamo. Elevators are extremely slow and could use cleaning.

The Red Roof Inn Plus+ San Antonio Downtown - Riverwalk offers a prime location for accessing local events and attractions. While some amenities fell short, including pool maintenance and room cleanliness, the ease of reaching downtown makes it a practical choice for those prioritizing accessibility.

I had an amazing time exploring the area, as it’s just a short walk of about 15 minutes to the iconic Alamo and less than a 10-minute stroll to the vibrant Riverwalk, which is packed with restaurants and shops; plus, there are amazing landmarks like the Tower of the Americas and the San Antonio Museum of Art within a few kilometers, making it super easy to soak in the culture and history of the city! The hotel itself offered convenient garage parking and the staff was friendly and helpful during my stay, but the overall cleanliness of my room could have definitely used some improvement.

The room had a strong scent of cigarettes, despite being a smoke-free facility. The air conditioning unit was noisy and disruptive, making the sleep experience uncomfortable. I found hair on the towels and the bathroom floor was dirty. The furniture showed significant wear, with peeling surfaces and a cracked sink. I appreciated the staff's friendliness and the proximity to the RiverWalk, but the lack of daily cleaning and the extra parking fee were frustrating. The noise from barking dogs made it difficult to relax. it needs a thorough cleaning and updates to feel truly welcoming.

I had high hopes, but they quickly faded. The check-in experience was disappointing—the associate was unhelpful and downright rude. The first room had a leak, soaking the carpet overnight. Transferred to another room, I found broken furniture and unsettling cleanliness issues, including a cockroach. The location is a plus; it’s a five-minute walk to the RiverWalk. The staff on the phone were friendly, yet in person, they were inconsistent. I encountered multiple issues with keycards and inadequate service. I didn't feel valued, nor was I informed of basic amenities. Safety and cleanliness should be priorities, but they clearly weren’t. I won’t return.

The rooms were spacious, perfect for unwinding after a long day of meetings. Easy access to public transport made getting around a breeze.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but the comfort and amenities made it worth it.

It was just a good match for a hurried visit in San Antonio with definitely value for money. Location was excellent.

Conveniently located just two blocks from our concert venue, the place was priced right for a one-night stay. The room had a comfortable bed, and Wi-Fi worked well. cleanliness was an issue; there were roaches, dirty sheets, and a coffee maker that clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Staff were friendly but unhelpful regarding our concerns. Unexpected parking fees were a surprise, though the ease of walking everywhere was nice. In a pinch, it served its purpose, but I wouldn’t choose it for anything more than a quick stop.

The pool looked disgusting—bright green and filthy—until they cleaned it the night before I left. I didn't even feel safe swimming with all those chemicals and germs floating around.

The maid was super friendly and offered extra towels. The location is perfect for a weekend getaway and the Wi-Fi works like a charm.
The shower curtain looked like it survived a war.

The outdoor swimming pool was the perfect spot to soak up the sun! I loved lounging on the sun beds with a refreshing drink in hand. The vibe was super chill and made for an unforgettable stay!
Can recommend! 💖🌊

Decent sized rooms, close to downtown. Walking distance from restaurants.
Disappointing service, dirty rooms with bad odors, and insufficient cleaning. Parking fees drained accounts, broken pool tiles, and programming key cards hassle.

Had a blast with friends hitting up Six Flags and SeaWorld nearby, so much fun! cruising along Riverwalk was rad, super chill vibes.
Would love a livelier pool area with some music and maybe even a poolside bar for some epic hangouts.

The location was super convenient for the event we attended, just a short walk from the Alamo dome. Right around the corner, we found a great BBQ place with music and a bar.

We liked the location. Red Roof Inn was an easy walk to River Walk, the river cruise ride, and other tourist attractions. As a single woman, I felt safe being alone and walking, thanks to the presence of other hotels and tourists in the area. Easy access to public transit which is cheap and air conditioned. the check-in staff was fairly friendly, and the coffee was pretty good. an employee named Norma or Norah was very kind and helpful to us with my friend's mobility issue. the beds were comfortable, and the location was a plus.
Can’t fault the property in any way 😊

The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired - there were hair and soap scum in the shower, toothpaste stains on the mirror, and even disposable coffee packets left in the coffee machine. It made me question if the rooms were properly cleaned at all. I did appreciate the convenient location of the hotel, just a few blocks away from the Riverwalk. The private parking garage was also a plus, although it did come at an additional cost. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, which was a nice touch. the maintenance issues were a major downside. The plumbing in my room was not up to par, as the toilet kept clogging up and the shower took hours to drain properly. It was quite inconvenient to deal with these issues throughout my stay. the inconsistent service added to the frustrations. I encountered problems with my room key multiple times, and the lack of housekeeping attention was evident with a garbage bag left in the hallway for days. while there were some positives like the location and parking convenience, the cleanliness and maintenance issues greatly impacted my experience at the Red Roof Inn.

I discovered the wonders of San Antonio. The attractions were so close I practically stumbled upon them! The hotel felt like home with its convenience and amenities. Cons: It was like a homeless shelter, but with a room charge.

We had fantastic water pressure in the shower, unlike some other guests. The room was clean and close to the Riverwalk. I'll recommend this hotel.

My wife says that the hotel lacks proper family entertainment.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the iconic sites like The Alamo and Riverwalk, and was pleasantly surprised by the daily housekeeping even for short stays. The Rivercenter Mall being less than two blocks away was also a great convenience for shopping and dining.
Issues with room cleanliness and lack of supplies, slow response for parking fee, and limited breakfast options.

Great location near the Riverwalk and Alamo, tidy rooms, and friendly maid service. Remodeling is noticeable, creating a fresh atmosphere.
Felt just like home, no complaints at all.

My backpacking adventure in San Antonio was an overall enjoyable experience. The hotel's location on the outskirts of downtown was convenient, with many attractions within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, offering amenities like a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. The staff was friendly and accommodating, providing excellent customer service. Additionally, the availability of free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception added to the convenience of my stay.
The lack of a complimentary breakfast. It would have been nice to have a more substantial morning meal option.
